Kevin Winebarger is a Christian pop artist and songwriter making defiantly hopeful music about faith, freedom, and finding joy when life doesn't go according to plan.

After releasing his debut album Courage in 2019, Kevin stepped away from his own artist career for nearly six years. He didn't step away from music. Instead, he built a life behind the scenes - writing, producing, developing artists, and lending his voice to projects by artists including Casting Crowns, Matthew West, and Tasha Layton.

Those years changed more than Kevin's career. A former worship pastor, he found himself asking harder questions about faith, healing, and the person he was becoming. Some of the answers he once held tightly became less certain. What remained was something simpler and more beautiful: grace, the freedom to be honest, and a belief that questions can lead us closer to Jesus - and closer to who we were made to be.

So in 2025, Kevin stepped back to the front.

His music today lives in the tension he knows well: questions and faith, grief and ridiculous joy, letting go and moving forward. Big, uplifting pop songs turn deeply personal lessons into something communal - music for getting back up, dropping shame, and choosing joy before everything is fixed.

For Kevin, becoming more like Jesus doesn't have to mean becoming less yourself.

And there is still plenty of reason to dance.
